CAUTION: It is a good idea to scrub the inside of the barrel with a household cleanser. A kitchen scrub mop will work well. Be sure to rinse well. It is also a good idea to put a sign on the barrel stating: Contents of this barrel are not for human or animal consumption. That is, should you decide not to properly purify it with an acceptable standard method.
